Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was an athlete and captain of the 2012 Fierce Five as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic Gymnastics team. At the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold on both the floor for the team and in individual competitions. The bronze medal was awarded with her balance bar. This made her the Olympics gymnast with the highest number of medals. She took gold in the team competition during the 2016 Olympics that was her as well as Gabby Douglas the first Americans to have back-to-back golds. Silver medals were also awarded at the all-around event and floor exercise. She took a break of three years between the two Olympics from competing gymnastics. Additionally, she was among the gold-winning American squads at the two World Championships. Aly began gymnastics lessons at age 2 and loves the floor workout. Aly supports her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. She plans to make a career from fashion. She would also like to extend her leotards line and socks. Fierce is a novel she's working on, will be published at the end of this year.
